His debut feature - Turkish production film "Korfez" (The Gulf) premiered at 2017 Venice Film Festival. Second feature - Yuva - and second collaboration with Turkish director Emre Yeksan premiered in the following year at Venice Film Festival 2018 and was awarded Best Cinematography at Istanbul Film Festival 2019.

Graduate of the Polish National Filmschool in Lodz.
Jakub works in commercials, features, documentaries and music videos.
His films were awarded and presented on many festivals - Cannes, IDFA Amsterdam, DOXA Vancouver and many others. Short film "Jutro mnie tu nie bedzie" was presented at Young Cinematography Talents KODAK Showcase during the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival. He shot "Autism deceives senses" - an innovative, multi-platform social campaign increasing autism awareness - directed by Tomek Goldbaum-Wlazinski, which got into Cannes Lions and won the most important advertising award in Poland - KTR Grand Prix as the Campaign of the Year.
